What we do with your details.
This is short because we hold very little. Three things are needed and three are optional, and none of the six asks what happened to you.
Who holds your details
Historic Abuse Claims UK is a trading style of Coresight Creative Limited, company number 16828110, registered at 128 City Road, London, United Kingdom, EC1V 2NX. We are the data controller for what you type into the form on this site.
We are a claims marketing service. We are not a law firm, we do not give legal advice, and we do not handle claims.
What we collect
Required: your name, a phone number, and the time of day you would like to be called.
Optional, and you can leave every one of them blank: an email address, a broad category for the type of place, and roughly which years.
There is no field for what happened to you, for who did it, or for the name of an institution. Nothing on this site can be uploaded. This is deliberate, and it is why we do not hold special category or criminal offence data about you.
Why we hold it
For one purpose only: so that a solicitor can ring you back at a time you chose. We do not use your details to advertise anything to you, and we do not add you to a mailing list.
Our lawful basis
Your consent, given by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us, and withdrawing it costs you nothing and needs no explanation.
Who else sees it
Your enquiry is passed to Total Claims Solutions Limited and the panel law firm who will call you. Nobody else receives it.
Your details are never sold, never shared with a panel of competing buyers, and never passed to an advertising service.
We use Resend to send the email that carries your enquiry, and Vercel and Neon to run this website and store the record of it. They process the data on our instructions and for no purpose of their own.
How long we keep it
If your enquiry does not go anywhere, we delete it after 12 months. If it is referred on, the record is kept for as long as the claim requires.
If you want it gone sooner, say so and we will delete it.
What you can ask us to do
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw your consent. Email us and we will do it. There is no charge and you do not have to give a reason.
If you are not happy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner at ico.org.uk, or by ringing 0303 123 1113.

You do not have to make a claim to get help.
These numbers are free and independent. Nobody there is connected to this site, and nothing you say to them comes back to us.
